Fatigue strength of metal

The damage of parts under the action of alternating stress is called fatigue failure. The fatigue of metal appears after a certain cycle under the action of variable load. After metal fatigue failure, there will be obvious fatigue macro fracture, which is generally composed of two regions, namely the fatigue crack generation and expansion zone and the final fracture zone. The stress concentration area in the component is the source of the fatigue crack core.
